The LEVEL Snowboard team has been hard at work this winter, and busy with all sorts of contests, filming video parts, and shooting photos around the globe.
New LEVEL Girl rider Gretchen Bleiler took home the Silver Medal at the 2007 Winter X Games, and has had numerous other podium finishes throughout the year, including 2nd pace at the US Open. Eero Ettala also represented for LEVEL in the Slopstyle Event at the X Games, and has been filming for MDP’s new film “Picture This”. Wille Yli-Luoma has also been all over the place filming for “Picture This” as well and has logged some serious footage.
JP Tomich, and Jon Kooley are both busy filming for the other MDP film, called “People” and have been all over chasing the snow, hitting some rails and riding some pow. Dionne is holding it down in Canada, and running the show for Whiteout Films...making sure all the riders our on top of their game.
The MUTINY have been getting busy doing their thing and spreading the LEVEL word to everybody! The lead MUTINY Zak Hale has been to pretty much every Rail Jam possible, and is always the youngest invited rider, at barely 14! He has been constantly seen on the weekly Bear Mtn. videos on TWSNOW.com, and recently took 2nd place at the LumberJack LogJam in Tahoe. Tucker Norred, a new MUTINY... is currently in 1st place in the USASA Mens Open Class! Benny Hanisch and Luke Henning are preparing for the Transworld Team Challenge where they will represent Bataleon. Both of them have been hard at work filming video parts as well...Nick with ThinkThank, and Benny with Naptime Films.
Jeremy Thompson has been competing like a mad man, and doing quite well. Zane Miller Has been on some photo trips thru Colorado and has bagged some good shots. Drew Brighton and Zak Hale both represented for the MUTINY at the US Open as well.
All and all the team has been working very hard, and representing very well for LEVEL!!
